Auburn Automobile Company (Auburn, IN)
Art Deco headquarters of the Auburn Automobile Company, built 1930 in Auburn, IN and designed by Fort Wayne architect A.M. Strauss. Auburn Automobile Company was founded in 1900 and was known for manufacturing very expensive, high-end vehicles. This luxury niche was unable to survive the Great Depression, and Auburn went out of business in 1937 along with its sister brands Cord and Duesenberg. Today the former headquarters is home to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.
